HYDERABAD: Koneru Rajendra Prasad alias Koneru Prasad, key accused in the APIICEmaar Properties scam and chairman of the Trimex group, filed a fresh petition in the special CBI court here on Monday for bail. It is his second application seeking bail. Magistrate B Naga Maruthi Sharma posted the arguments for January 4.The earlier plea of Prasad, lodged in Chanchalguda Central Prison, for bail had been rejected. However, he was granted interim bail for undertaking a pilgrimage to Sabarimalai.
