Chittagong (Bangladesh): Sri Lanka scored an eight-wicket victory over Bangladesh on the fourth day of the first Test on Friday to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
On Thursday Sri Lankan off spinner Muttiah Muralitharan took six wickets for 54 to bowl Bangladesh out for 181 in their second innings on Wednesday on the third day of the first cricket Test against Sri Lanka.
With the latest haul Muralitharan, who also took 3-87 in Bangladesh's first innings, crossed a world first 1,000 wicket milestone in international cricket, including both Test and One-Dayers.
The second Test begins in Bogra on Wednesday.
