Man arrested for killing brother-in-law

CHENNAI: Police in St Thomas Mount arrested a man on Saturday for murdering his brother-in-law. Babu was taken into custody for attacking Girigori because he had been frequently beating his wife - who is Babu’s sister.Sources said Girigori, a painter, often quarrelled with his wife Shanti after their eldest daughter committed suicide over failing in her Class X examinations. The painter blamed his wife for the daughter’s death.On Friday, Shanti’s brother Babu attacked Girigori causing fatal injuries. He was declared brought dead by doctors.
