A man who made verbal threats against Bush was held outside White House.
Washington: The Secret Service on Tuesday said that a man who made verbal threats against US President George W Bush and had a suspicious package was arrested on Monday outside the north fence of the White House.
Secret Service spokesman, Ed Donovan said 28-year-old Aleksandar Aleksov, of New Jersey, was taken into custody just before 2 pm (1900 GMT) on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Aleksov was charged with making threats against the President.
Donovan said Secret Service officers overheard the threats. He however added that the package was later found not to be dangerous. He did not release any further details.
