Hollywood actor Richard Gere is all set to open a quaint country-inn and restaurant in Westchester in New York.
New York Hollywood actor Richard Gere seems to love having his finger in many pies.
Apart from his prolific film career, he is all set to open a quaint country inn and restaurant in Westchester.
Gere and business partner Russell Hernandez have paid £2.7 million for a 14-acre property in Bedford.
However, their plan to convert a dilapidated Revolutionary War-era house and barn into a luxury hotel and restaurant still needs town approval, Hernandez said.
Gere can't get a building permit until the plan includes handicap accessibility and elevator access, town records show.
"As soon as we have permission we will start to figure out who is going to run it," Hernandez was quoted by the Daily News as saying.
