New Delhi: Expanding its Android powered smartphone portfolio, Motorola has introduced two new smartphones - Motoluxe and Motorola Defy Mini - which run Android 2.3 operating system(OS).
Motoluxe is said to be a slim touchscreen device and Motorola Defy Mini is touted to be dustproof and water-resistant. Both the devics are equipped with Motorola’s MotoSwitch user interface. According to the company press relase, the Social Graph feature gives users easy and fast access to the people who really matter. The more frequently you communicate with someone, the bigger their icon becomes.
Motoluxe has a 4-inch touchscreen display and an 8 megapixel camera with flash and a front-facing VGA camera. The phone has a 1400 mAh battery that is claimed to ofefr up to 6.5 hours of talk time, 19 days of standby time.
On the other hand, Motorola Defy Mini has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone sports a 3 megapixel rear and a front facing VGA camera. The phone has a 1650 mAh battery that is claimed to give up to 10 hours of talk time, 21 days of standby time.
The company says that consumers can get their hands on Motoluxe and Motorola Defy Mini at Motorola's booth at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show, January 10 - 13, 2012.
Both devices are expected to be available in Greater China, Europe and Latin America starting in February. However, Motoluxe is already available in China under the name Motorola XT615. Motorola Defy Mini is expected to be available in China under the name Motorola XT320.
