Mumbai: After dazzling the audience with his versatile performances for over three decades, veteran actor Dharmendra is now ready to don a new mantle.
The actor is set as a role model in a self-help book written by his close friend and filmmaker Arjun Hingorani.
The book titled How To Be Happy and Realise Your Dreams was formally launched in Mumbai on Sunday by veteran actors Prem Chopra, Tabassum and Dharmendra.
"I haven?t seen dedication and sincerity like Dharmendra has in anyone else," Hingorani said.
Hingorani and Dharmendra's friendship goes back decades, with Hingorani having given the actor his first break in a leading role in Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere.
Despite the adulation Dharmendra has recieved over the years, he still thinks of himself as a farmer's son from a small village in Punjab.
"I can never forget that I am a farmer's son. I cannot pretend or force people to accept my achievements," Dharmendra said.
Hingorani's book is written with an objective to motivate the reader. Making Dharmendra an inspiration for newcomers in the film industry, he sure makes the most of 'hero-worship'.
