Nitish Kumar exhorts young entrepreneurs to work in Bihar
The chief minister said that youths of Bihar held tremendous merit and needed opportunity to excel in the state.

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday exhorted young entrepreneurs to make Bihar their destination and said his government would draw a policy on the basis of input provided by them to promote industries.

Making inaugural speech at Second Industrialists conference here, Kumar asked entrepreneurs to discuss with a team of high government officials under Principal Secretary Industries Tripurari Sharan on how to proceed further.

"Prepare a document after holding discussion with officials on the basis of which a policy will be drawn to facilitate setting up enterprises in the state," he said.

The chief minister said that youths of Bihar held tremendous merit and needed opportunity to excel in the state.

"Since people of Bihar are not getting respect in their home state they are fleeing elsewhere and doing excellent work," Kumar said.

The chief minister said that Kisanganj district held tremendous potential in production of fruits considering which an agriculture college was being set up there.

Industries Minister Shyam Rajak said not more than two per cent of population could be provided government jobs and exhorted youths to open up enterprises of them own.

Rajak laid emphasis on small and cottage industries which would facilitate employment opportunity and enhance income in rural areas.
