New Delhi: Leaders of the Muslim world on Sunday came together to denounce terrorism in all its forms at a conference organised in the Capital.
A senior Afghan leader launched a scathing attack on Pakistan, accusing it of being an "exporter of terrorism" to other parts of the world and blaming it for all problems in his country.
"Pakistan is exporting terrorism to different parts of the world. Eighty to 90 per cent of terror attacks around the world can be traced back to Pakistan. The ISI is exporting terrorists trained in their terror camps," Afghanistan Senate Speaker Sibghatullah Mijaddedi said here.
Criticising the allied forces fighting the "war against terror" in Afghanistan of turning a blind eye to the terror camps operating in Pakistan, he said, "We are suffering because of the interference of ISI in our country; everyday we lose our people, young and old indiscriminately."
"Why have their terror training camps not been destroyed by allied forces?" he said addressing the concluding session of the an international conference on terrorism here.
While hoping that the new government in Pakistan would restrain the ISI from interfering in Afghan affairs, he expressed his fear that it might have lost control over the outfit.
He claimed that over 180 members of his family have lost their lives to ISI-aided terrorists and he had survived a suicide bomb attack.
The Afghan leader urged spiritual leaders around the world to preach the right form of religion to the people and dissuade them from taking recourse to violent means by explaining that killing innocent people is forbidden in every religion.
