Minor mistakes in the nomination should not be taken seriously. If candidates voice any concern over such issues then it will be looked into. However, if there is no such issue, there’s no need for the officer to allot more time for collecting evidence. The officer should be careful while issuing symbols. Also, utmost care should be taken while including the names of the candidates on the ballot paper. If there are two candidates with the same name, the main candidate can choose a name.
