According to Ahmedabad Crime Branch, Maulana Abdul Qavi is the founder of a madrasa, Ashraf Ul Uloom.
Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad Police Crime branch has arrested Maulana Abdul Qavi, a wanted accused in the Ahmedabad serial blast case.
He has been arrested in New Delhi. According to Ahmedabad Crime Branch, he is the founder of a Madrasa, Ashraf Ul Uloom and was instrumental in sending Muslim boys of Hyderabad for training to Pakistan.
One of the boys whom he sent to Pakistan for terror training is Asghar Ali, who is an accused in killing of Haren Pandya in March 2003.
