Programmes to make workplace lively

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Technopark companies spare a sizable time for cultural activities of the employees.  Interestingly, the programmes are organised to make their work space comfortable and lively. ‘Kaleidoscope’, organised by UST Global and ‘I love my workplace’ by Accentia Technologies are a few of them.  Kaleidoscope, the half-yearly Employee Engagement Festival of UST Global, was held at Bhavani Atrium in Technopark on Wednesday. The festival is organised across all centres of UST Global. Actor Jishnu Raghavan was the chief guest at the programme.  The festival has interesting programmes, ranging from magic show to food festival. Stalls exhibiting flower and vegetable arrangements, ‘mehandi’ and corporate offer packages are part of the festival. Exciting programmes include free bird astrology, where techies queue up hear about their future. A centre stage was set up for nonstop performances of employees of UST Global. “Bird astrology, which is a rare thing nowadays, is there as part of the festival. Many checked their fates. There were many such fun and exciting items, including games and dance. Techies from other companies too attend the programme,” said Renjith, an employee of UST Global. ‘I Love My Workplace’In order to make their workplace interesting, Technopark-based Accentia Technologies is arranging a unique programme ‘I Love My Workplace.’ The company will organise a cultural programme every week. It will also ensure maximum participation of employees. Even the ambience of the company will be changed for the programme, with colourful decorations. Fun games like ‘Dumb Charade’, ‘Thambola’ etc to creative and skill games are planned for the programme. There will a unique dress code for the programme day. The company is making sure that the employees get ‘recharged’ after the programme.
