Chennai: Deepak Pushpanathan, a young relative of former Telecom Minister A Raja, died in Chennai last night after suffering a massive heart attack.
30-year-old Deepak, who was working with Etisalat DB, a firm under the scanner in connection with the 2G spectrum scam, was at a local gym where he is believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest during a work out, police said.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Deepak, Raja's wife's cousin, was diabetic and was on medication. He is survived by wife and one-year-old daughter.
Police do not suspect any foul play in his death.
