New Delhi: Things only seem to get worse for disgraced Big Brother star Jade Goody. Now she has revealed rehab was extremely traumatic, even worse than being on the UK television show.
Last week, Goody had been found to be suffering from depression and was admitted to the London Priory Clinic. She was meant to spend weeks in the clinic but checked out on Friday after just five days.
Goody found the group therapy sessions difficult to cope with, sources said, and that she was terrified one of the other patients would not keep her secrets.
Goody is also said to be suffering from insomnia and shock, and is now staying in her boyfriend Jack Tweed's uncle’s luxury home in Norfolk.
She has agreed to carry on with her private consultations at the south-west London clinic but only as a day patient.
“She knew she badly needed help and the doctors were brilliant but she couldn't stand the regime,” Newsoftheworld quoted Goody’s friend as saying.
“She didn't like being confined so soon after leaving Big Brother. She kept saying, ‘I need space, I need space',” her friend said.
Goody, whose name has since become synonymous with bad, racist behaviour, had admitted some time back that she indeed made racist comments about the Indian actress on the reality show.
