CHITRADURGA: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda said on Monday that deputy commissioners of districts facing drought-like situations have been instructed to begin relief work immediately.He told media persons that apart from drought situations, the state is also facing acute power shortage which will be solved.However he did not speak about declaring Chitradurga drought-hit.“I have come here specially for the state level Yadava congregation and conferring of Krishna Sri award to noted shooter Kavitha Yadav.I am 26 days old in the office of CM and am studying the socio-economic status of various districts.I will come back to Chitradurga shortly to hold a review meeting,” Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda informed.
