HYDERABAD: With their remand date coming to an end on Monday, the special CBI Magistrate B Naga Maruthi Sharma extended the Judicial remand of G Janardhana Reddy and his brother-in-law B V Srinivasa Reddy in the illegal mining case till November 14.Around 10 am on Monday, jail officials facilitated the use of video-conferencing to produce the accused G Janardhana Reddy and his brother-in-law B V Srinivasa Reddy before the Magistrate B Naga Maruthi Sharma. The jail officials had taken the decision due to security reasons.Magistrate B Naga Maruthi Sharma extended the Judicial remand by fourteen days till November 14. The Chanchalguda prison officials submitted a brief report about the medical status of the accused to the court. Reddy Plea for Change of RoomHyderabad: The counsel for Janardhana Reddy and B V Srinivasa Reddy on Monday, filed a petition in the special CBI court to shift the accused to another room under A-category of the Andhra Pradesh Prison Act. The court posted further hearing of the issue to November 2. After filing a petition, Uma Maheswara Rao, Reddy’s counsel said they had moved a petition to shift them to another room considering their social status as per the Act under section 730.
