The robbers raided the house of the ex-armyman Santlal Sah located at Sirsa Chowk late on Wednesday night and assaulted him and his wife Sulochana Devi and two others before looting cash and valubales, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Rakesh Kumar said.
"The injured persons were admitted to a hospital where the attending doctors referred them to Siligudi in view of their critical condition," he said.
The details of loot of cash and valuables were being assessed, Kumar said.
