SC dismisses PIL seeking direction to Union & states to uses Bharat and not India

New Delhi: "Those who want to call it India will call it India and those who want to call it Bharat will call it Bharat," the Supreme Court observed while dismissing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking direction to the Union and states to uses Bharat instead of India.

Castigating the petitioner, the Chief Justice of India TS Thakur said, "Don't bring all kind of emotional issues to this court in the name of public interest."
