The matter came to light on Wednesday when some school children saw a body bearing deep injury marks lying near the bushes, while they were on their way to school and informed their teachers.
The body has been identified as that of 42-year-old Ram Charan who worked as a tailor in the market of Parsundakhal near Dungri village. The injury marks on his body suggest he was killed by a leopard, the officials said. The body has been handed over to his family after post mortem, they added.
