HYDERABAD: Six SI aspirants climbed atop the Osmania University central library building on Tuesday and threatened to end their lives if the state government goes ahead with the written examinations for SI recruitment without deleting clause 14 (f) from the Presidential Order.The protesting aspirants reportedly carried petrol cans with them and locked themselves from inside demanding that the clause 14 (f) be deleted. Four of them have been identified as Narender, Raju, Ramesh and Sreenu.The university authorities tried to convince them to come down, but they refused to do so and remained on the library building till the last reports came in.Meanwhile, the OU Telangana Vidyarthi Ikya Vedika warned the elected representatives from the region from going back on their resignations.
