KURNOOL / SANGAREDDY: Eight persons died and four others were injured in two separate road mishaps in Medak and Kurnool districts on Saturday.In Kurnool district, six persons died and three others were injured near Nallagatla in Allagadda mandal when an auto on way to Allagadda from Nandyal collided with a lorry coming in the opposite direction.While three persons in the auto died on the spot, three others died while undergoing treatment in Nandyal hospital.The deceased were identified as Nagaraju (32) of Narsapuram village, M Srilahta (28) of Kotapadu village and Samiulla (19) of Nandyal, all three belonging to Allagadda constituency.Three more bodies are yet to be identified, Allagadda CI Sudhakar Reddy said.Two persons died and one other suffered injuries after a lorry overturned near Musaipet village in Chegunta mandal, Medak district, in the wee hours of Saturday.According to police, the lorry on its way to Hyderabad with steel loaded in it started off from Delhi on May 23.As the lorry reached Chetlatimmayapalli, the driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.Lorry driver Sajad Khan (40) and cleaner Saber Khan (33), both belonging to Uttar Pradesh, died on the spot while one other Junaid has been hospitalised with injuries.The bodies were shifted to Ramayampet for post mortem.
