New Delhi: Daniel Craig returns as the ruthless but charming MI6 agent James Bond in ‘Skyfall’. The 23rd film in the Bond franchise is directed by Sam Mendes and features Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris alongside Craig.

The film is releasing in India 8 days before its scheduled release in the United States, however it has already been released in the United Kingdom. James Bond has changed a lot in fifty years since the first Bond film ‘Dr. No’ hit the screens in 1962. Daniel Craig brought a new dimension to the character by infusing some cynicism in it. Now, his association with Sam Mendes is expected to bring another change in Bond’s mannerism.

Mendes is known for films such as ‘American Beauty’ and ‘Revolutionary Road’, which gives a hint about his method of filmmaking, so it seems Bond is going to be more subtle this time.

Javier Bardem and Judi Dench are also there to enhance the drama element. Thomas Newman’s background score is an added attraction.
