Sonakshi Sinha wraps up first shooting schedule with Rajinikanth for upcoming Tamil film 'Lingaa'

Bollywood Sonakshi Sinha, who enters the Tamil film industry with Rajinikanth's 'Lingaa', has wrapped up the first schedule of the shooting of the film.

Sinha is playing the female lead opposite southern superstar Rajinikanth in the film directed by KS Ravikumar. The first phase of 'Lingaa', which was shot in and around Mysore and Mandya in Karnataka, also stars Anushka and Jagapathy Babu.

The actress' character is set in the 1940s era, and Sinha is reportedly wearing make-up and outfits suitable to that time. The next schedule, according to the Times of India, is likely start in in Hyderabad.

The happy actress tweeted: "A beautiful day as I wrap up the first schedule for my first Tamil film #Lingaa with an amazing crew that made me feel right at home!"
