Students day at Christ Nagar school

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: It was a day off for the teachers of Christ Nagar Senior Secondary School,Thiruvallam, with students running the show for a day on September 16, handling classes and administration with equal aplomb.The day began with a morning assembly during which the school principal Fr Mathew Arekalam handed over the ‘golden key’ to the student principal Haisam Haja symbolising the transfer of power for a day to the students.The student principal proposed the theme for the day as ‘Guide the Light and Inspire.’ The classes went on in full swing throughout the day as the student teachers displayed their skills in handling classes. The performance of the ‘teachers’ was monitored and evaluated by a panel of regular teachers and the best student teachers were selected and honoured at the end of the day.
