Tax Evasion: Luxury car seized

BANGALORE: The Ashokanagar police have seized a Mercedes Benz SUV allegedly belonging to CEO of an Australia based real estate company LJ Hooker. The seizure was made on charges of tax evasion.
According to the police, they had received a complaint that the company's CEO Alexander Moore was using a fake registration number KA03MB8388, actually the number of a Maruti Omni vehicle owned by one Keshavamurthy. It was also alleged that Moore did this to evade tax. However, Moore claimed that he did not know anything about it, police said.
