Three girls die as mound collapses on them

Three teenage girls on Sunday died after a mound of mud caved on them in Agaiya village of the district, police said. Koyali (14), Mausami (12) and Rehana (14) were buried under the mud when the mound collapsed on them in Agaiya village of Nanpara area, they said.

By the time they could be rescued by the villagers, Koyali and Mausami were already dead, whereas Rehana succumbed during treatment at the district hospital, police said.
