Heavy rains continued to batter Delhi-NCR for the second consecutive day on Saturday, causing widespread waterlogging and traffic jams. The Delhi Police issued a traffic advisory in response to the disruptions.
Traffic has been diverted at Ch Fateh Singh Marg due to waterlogging, shifting routes from Mall Road red light to Majnu Ka Tila.

Potholes have also affected traffic on Najafgarh Nangloi Road in both directions.
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for several areas, forecasting light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds (30-40 km/h)
Two-Storey House Collapses In Delhi’s Model Town
A two-storey house collapsed in northwest Delhi’s Model Town area during heavy afternoon rain and a rescue operation is underway as some people are feared trapped under the rubble, officials said.
According to the PTI report, the incident took place in Mahendru Enclave where the old house, which was being repaired, collapsed around 2.45 pm.
Three fire tenders have been deployed for the rescue operation, an official of the Delhi Fire Service said.
With the help of the local police and other rescue team members, three people were taken out of the rubble and sent to a nearby hospital. Two of them are in critical condition, the official said.
Police said the rescue operation is still underway as a few more people are feared trapped.
