BANGALORE: A private travel agency has filed a case against danseuse, Nandini Alva, in Sampangirama Nagar police station for not clearing payments to the tune of Rs. 13 lakh.Cabs India, a city based travel agency has accused that Alva, had hired vehicles from the agency for transportation of guests between October 24 and October 29 in 2010 for the wedding of her daughter Priyanka Alva with bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi in the year 2010.She had paid an advance amount of Rs. 3 lakh. After the wedding, the agency had given her a bill of Rs. 17.3 lakh. Allegedly, she has not paid the remaining amount Rs. 14.3 lakh even after an year. Meanwhile, the agency has also issued a legal notice, after which she has given a cheque. Shaji Verghese, on behalf of Cab India, said, “After a legal notice was issued, Nandini Alva has issued a cheque for remaining amount. However, the cheque is not presented yet.”
