Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Saturday directed officials to prepare a roadmap for an integral development of villages of the state.
Chairing a meeting of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj department, she asked officials to work on a five-point special action plan to improve road networks, water drainage and drinking water, sanitation, energy and other basic amenities.
She directed the officials to strengthen schemes directly linked to people, including the midday meal one.
Raje also asked them to identify projects that could be done in partnership with the public in rural areas.
Rural Development and Panchayti Raj minister Gulab Chand Kataria, Chief Secretary Rajiv Mehirshi and other senior officials were present at the meeting.
