Veteran comedian Deven Verma passes away at 78

New Delhi: Iconic Bollywood actor Deven Verma died in Pune on Tuesday morning after a severe cardiac attack, and kidney failure. Deven was 78.

Deven Varma is still remembered for his comic roles. He had worked with eminent filmmakers like Basu Chatterji, Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Gulzar.

Besides acting in several popular films, Deven had also produced and directed films including 'Besharam'.

Deven had not only worked in Hindi films, but also had Marathi and Bhojpuri films to his credit.
