The Cherlapally central prison’s head warder DP Sharma was suspended here on Tuesday after a prisoner escaped from its open air prison on Monday.
The prisoner, R Kistaiah (36) from Shamshabad, is a life convict for murdering his brother in 2006. He had served his imprisonment at Cherlapally central prison for five years and had been shifted to its open air prison last year.
