A man driving an SUV in Degana in Rajasthan’s Nagaur district ran into a procession that was taken out on Vishwakarma Jayanti, after he suffered a heart attack and lost control of the vehicle.
Several people were injured as a result of this accident which was captured on a CCTV camera.

According to Hindustan Times, the Nagaur Police said that the driver died due to the heart attack and five people were injured in the accident.
The police further informed that three among them were discharged after primary treatment and two were referred to Ajmer.
Taking note of the unfortunate incident, Chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed his condolences.
Taking to his official X account, Sharma said, “Deeply saddened with the news of a road accident during the procession taken out on Vishwakarma Jayanti in Degana. I pray to the Lord to give peace to the departed soul, and for the speedy recovery of those injured. May the family members have the strength to bear this shock.”
As per the CCTV footage of the incident, the car has been identified as a Bolero which was seen moving slowly behind a group of around a dozen people. The procession was taken out by members of the Jangid community. The video further showed that the vehicle suddenly increases its speed and ploughs into the march participants.
Further details on the matter are yet to be received.
