A final call on my next political move would be taken in December, former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa said on Tuesday.
“Once I take a decision, those who wish to come with me would decide and the rest would engage in strengthening the party by remaining ‘there’.
Presently, I am just a party worker and I will let you know my decision in December,” the former CM said.
Replying to a query, the Lingayat leader said he would consult the seniors before taking a final call.
When asked of his meeting with senior Arun Jaitley, Yeddyurappa said, “When the state leaders have already given a different picture about me then what’s the use in meeting him?” Further he categorically said he would not speak to either the state or central party leaders.
Coming down heavily on Deputy Chief Minister Eshwarappa, Yeddyurappa termed that the DCM had engaged in revenge politics with him.
“Differences with Eshwarappa cannot be resolved.
We both cannot stay together.
Hereafter, I would not share the dais with Deputy Chief Minister K S Eshwarappa until he remains in power as DCM or minister in Shimoga district.
His behaviour has irritated me.
Power alters the behaviour and Eshwarappa is an example for it,” said Yeddyurappa.
He alleged that Eshwarappa did not extend cooperation with him during his tenure as chief minister towards making Shimoga as a model town and in development activities in the district.
“I sanctioned `10-12 crores towards development of Mahatma Gandhi Park during my period as chief minister.
On October 2, it was scheduled for inauguration.
However, Eshwarappa directed the officers to cancel the inauguration of the park,” he said.
