BELGAUM: The Maharashtra Ekikaran Samithi (MES) which is demanding the transfer of Marathi speaking areas located in Belgaum district to Maharashtra, has decided to intensify its agitation against the state government from October 29.MES called to the pro Maharashtrians living in Belgaum, Khanapur and Nippani areas not to accept any bills or notices or government documents given in Kannada.The MES leaders said that the activists would erect Marathi boards in the city where Marathi boards are not displayed.
