Starting at Rs 1,960 for the feature phone, the prices for the upcoming Philips smartphones will go up to Rs 20,650 for the high-end Android smartphone, named Philips W6610.

New Delhi: Re-entering the Indian mobile phone market, Philips is all set to launch four new phones in India - one feature phone and three Android smartphones. Starting at Rs 1,960 for the feature phone, the prices for Philips smartphones will go up to Rs 20,650 for the high-end Android smartphone, named Philips W6610.

Philips used to sell feature phones in India till before the acquisition.

Sang Fei is a joint venture between Royal Dutch Philips Electronics and Shenzhen SED Industry, will introduce the new Philips phones in India. Sang Fei's parent group China Electronics Corporation had in 2007 acquired Philips' global mobile phone business.
