BLACKPINK's Jennie Celebrates Her Pre-Birthday In Los Angeles; Check Videos
Pictures and videos from Jennie's fun-filled pre-birthday week have taken the internet by storm.

South Korean girl group BLACKPINK member Jennie made the most of her time in Los Angeles. The singer, who turned a day older today, January 16 celebrated her pre-birthday celebrations in the city. Pictures and videos from her fun-filled pre-birthday week have taken the internet by storm. Earlier, Jennie unintentionally dropped a picture on her Instagram story where she was seen at a recording studio. Although she deleted it soon after so as not to give away the information that she was in Los Angeles, eagle-eyed fans were quick to take note of her location. Now, along with wishing the singer a happy birthday, her photos from the California city have grabbed multiple eyeballs.

In the now-deleted Instagram Story, it was revealed that Jennie was at LA’s Chalice Recording Studio. The studio is well-reckoned for hosting singing sensations like Usher and Ariana Grande. A postcard featured in the photograph reads, “Have a great session. James + Jennie” along with a smiley emoji. The photo made Jennie’s fans excited because it hinted that the Pink Venom singer might be working on a new project.

As per the numerous pictures and videos shared on X (formerly Twitter) by social media users, Jennie was seen having the time of her life at the famous Mama Lion in Koreatown, report Koreaboo. She danced the night away with her friends enjoying her pre-birthday. Fans loved the way Jennie let her hair down at the club, away from the public eye to spend her birthday privately.

The internet community also opined that the Mama Lion club was playing K-pop music with Jennie showcasing her dance moves to girl group New Jeans’ popular song Super Shy. However, when her own group BLACKPINK’s peppy track DDU-DU DDU-DU started playing, Jennie was over the moon. She shook a leg to the upbeat lyrics as if no one was watching.

Jennie’s visit to the US comes shortly after she exited from her former management company YG Entertainment in December last year. She has now launched her own label titled OA. Sharing the announcement with her fans, Jennie in a statement said, “I’m also excited about what’s to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, BLACKPINK.”

YG Entertainment confirmed Jennie’s exit in a separate statement.
