There are commercials that are funny, poignant and saddening. And then, there are those that are inspirational. But the best commercials are the ones that are mind-triggering, and offer a key message to apply. And ‘British Airways’ – that has launched their campaign called 'Fuelled By Love' – achieves this with its new commercial. Their new advertisement will quite clearly never outlive its usefulness nor will its inspirational message ever lose its importance.
The video begins with airhostess Helena Fynn, 23 admitting to be both excited and nervous about her maiden flight to India. While she is impressed with the vastness of Indian culture, she is also a bit anxious.
The video which lasts over six minutes will not only reawaken nationalistic passion and but also help you take pride in our culture that is hospitable and warm. With Helena and an elderly Indian woman playing the protagonists in the video, there is also a strong emphasis on sharing a bond of care and trust notwithstanding their age group. The video ends with the elderly woman inviting Helena to visit her home in Hyderabad. From sharing a meal with her family to listening to classic music – Helena witnesses all and carries home some interesting memories of India.
With something extraordinarily satisfying about it, the commercial includes a happy twist you might not see coming.
