Mouni Roy, who rose to prominence with her appearance in the supernatural thriller series Naagin and its sequel, Naagin 2, is also loved by fans for her captivating looks and stellar sartorial choices. The actress’ every look has a fanbase of its own, constantly keeping her on the radar of fashion magazines, and rightly so. Her recent look is no different. Mouni recently shared pictures of her look from the trailer launch of Showtime, leaving her fans’ hearts fluttering.

Mouni Roy grabbed a strapless corset gown in a pastel colour palette from the shelves of the clothing label Taali to attend the event. The floor-sweeping ensemble featured a corset bodice with a lace bustline. On the other hand, the flared bottom with a train to follow, ruched detailing, and neat pleats enhanced the appeal of her gown. Accentuating Mouni’s well-toned body, the ensemble made many heads turn at the event. However, it’s not just the ensemble but Mouni should be accredited to carry the look with sheer elegance. Mouni Roy has proven her talent and versatility as an actress throughout her career which began with Ekta Kapoor’s television serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Post her stint in Naagin and Naagin 2, Mouni bagged her Bollywood debut project with Akshay Kumar, Gold. In 2022, Mouni left everyone stunned with her performance in Ayan Mukerji’s magnum opus, Brahmastra. She was last seen in the web series Sultan of Delhi for which she earned critical acclaim.

Meanwhile, in a recent media interaction with News18 Showsha, Mouni exclusively said that she is on her path to changing the industry and the audience’s perception of her. She said, “If you ask me if I have been typecast, then yes, of course, I have. But I also have been very, very lucky with directors who had the vision to see me in different roles and parts. Like Emraan Hashmi says, it may be a fair industry but I truly believe that it’s a very difficult industry.”
