The recently-concluded 10th Krackerjack Karnival was an astounding success as all routes led to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The two day event witnessed a thrilling line up of music and dance performances; fun rides; crazy contest and meet and greet sessions with some of the most popular cartoon characters. The day kick included meet and greet session with the boy wonder from Dholakpur - Chhota Bheem and his friends, who have proved to be the children’s favorites on the first day as well. Shiva, Chhotu, Gaju bhai and Arjun added further excitement at the event.

Coming to the activities, this edition presented children and their parents with a plethora of interesting happenings to choose from. Funstation, which deals with making Lego, India’s hobby shack teaching various skills such as paper plane making, parachute making, wooden plane making etc; jewellery making and door hangings design by Shweta Gupta are some of the many skills which the visitors learned at the 10th Krackerjack Karnival.

Bubbles Sabharwal and Lushin Dubey, theatre stalwarts and doyens of the children theatre group Kids World, bought the magic of the stage to the children with their production of Piyush Mishra’s play Jungle Book Se Aage- a satirical take by the eminent actor, writer and lyricist on the classic story by Rudyard Kipling.

Chandrika Behl, Founder, Krackerjack Karnival and Director, Exhibitions India Group, said, “The overwhelming response to the first day was inspiring. The success of the opening day was clearly visible on every smiling face that showed joy and delight. The 2nd day of the festival had a great line-up of activites, workshops, live performances and astonishing products at display.”
