Aamir Khan’s on-screen daughter, who played the role of Junior Babita Phogat in Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal passed away on Saturday. She was 19. While the exact cause of her death remains unknown, an English Jagran report claims that she had suffered a leg fracture and was being treated at AIIMS. Due to the side-effects of medication, it resulted in fluid accumulation. Her untimely demise has come as a shock. Amid condolences pouring in for Suhani, Aamir Khan’s Production house also extended a heartfelt eulogy on micro-blogging site X(formerly Twitter).
The handle took to their timeline and shared, “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts ❤️ May you rest in peace .”

Suhani Bhatnagar played the role of Junior Babita Phogat in the Aamir Khan starrer. Back in 2021, Suhani stole netizens hearts with her stunning looks, after few of her photos had resurfaced on the internet. Social media was stunned to see her transformation. Her last Instagram post was a slideshow of pictures.
In one of the pictures, we can see a close-up of the upper part of her face, highlighting her beautiful eyes. In the next photo, we can see her hair catching the sunlight. In another photo, she uploaded a casual photo with her hands supporting her head as she smiled for the camera. The next is a short snippet which captures her olive-green eyes as she winks. She had captioned it, “November?”
Dangal charted history in Bollywood. The sports drama was directed by Nilesh Tiwari. The inspiring biopic is based on renowned wrestler Mahavir Phogat and his daughters, Geeta and Babita Phogat. Suhani played the younger version of Babita, while Sanya Malhotra essayed the older Babita Phogat. Zaira Wasim stepped into the role of the child version of Geeta Phogat, while Fatima Sana Shaikh played the role of elder Geeta Phogat. Dangal was made with a budget of Rs 70 crore. It grossed Rs 538.03 crore in India and a staggering Rs 1,960 crore worldwide.
