Abdu Rozik Is 'Too Happy' About Munawar Faruqui Winning Bigg Boss 17: 'He Can Have More Girlfriends'
Abdu Rozik expressed his joy at Munawar Faruqui's Bigg Boss 17 win. He said that he has always supported the comedian.

Munawar Faruqui has emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 17. After entertaining the audience on Salman Khan’s popular reality show for months, Munawar was named the winner on Sunday, January 28. As Munawar celebrates his achievement, many celebrities from the entertainment world are also congratulating him and expressing their joy at his win. Among them is also Bigg Boss alum Abdu Rozik.

Abdu was recently spotted by the paps and they asked him about his feelings on Munawar’s win. He said, “Guys, I’m too much too much happy for him because now he can have lots of girlfriends. Besides the shiny Bigg Boss 17 trophy, Munawar Faruqui also took home a swanky new car and a grand cash prize of Rs. 50 lakh. The comedian was overwhelmed with joy when his name was announced as the winner of the popular reality show. His family had also come to support him and were beaming with pride.

However, after his win, some people said that Munawar was a ‘fixed winner’. In an interview with ETimes, Munawar said, “Yaar fixed winner ko itna sab go through karna pade toh it can’t be a fixed winner. If one has to go through so much scrutiny as a supposed fixed winner, then it can’t truly be a fixed winner. If I had been a fixed winner, I would have gotten everything on a platter. Pura season gawah hai that I’ve got nothing on a platter, I’ve worked hard and a lot.”

He added, “My answer to people who are calling me a fixed winner is, ‘Just sit and watch the entire season, and you will realize that it wasn’t fixed.” Munawar further added, “Having said that, people can have that feeling because, when you have a strong fanbase and you do such reality shows, a lot of things are at stake and you lose a few things. To win things, you give them your best. Mujhe lagta hai ye pyaar hai logon ka and people who are calling me a fixed winner can’t change their opinion. Maybe before going to Bigg Boss, I would have wanted to change perceptions, but now I feel I can’t change everyone.”

After winning the show, Munawar held a huge rally in Mumbai’s Dongri on Monday, January 29. Munawar could be seen waving to his fans from the sunroof of his car. A massive crowd of the comedian’s fans had gathered in Dongri, where Munawar is from, to celebrate his achievement. He also raised the trophy in the air while his fans cheered for him.
