To celebrate the success of Ananya Panday’s latest Netflix release, CTRL, the team of the film hosted a star-studded party last night in Mumbai. In attendance were the cast including Vihaan Samat, director Vikramaditya Motwane, producer Nikhil Dwivedi and a few other Bollywood stars. It was Ananya who stole the limelight with her fashion prowess at the success party, making heads turn in a stylish all-black ensemble. But, the best part remains her bag, featuring a quirky note.
In a video from the intimate gathering, Ananya Panday is seen posing for the shutterbugs, looking stunning in a chic black dress paired with matching boots. While she took an understated route to accessorise her look, one cannot help but notice her bag which featured the message ‘LOVE IS A DRUG’. At the end of the video, the actress waves at paparazzi and makes her way inside the venue.
Speaking of CTRL, the Vikramaditya Motwane directorial follows the story of Nella Awasthi as she navigates the world of Artificial Intelligence after being cheated by her boyfriend of 5 years. Earlier, Ananya Panday gave her fans a peek into the film’s production through an Instagram post comprising some behind-the-scenes photos and snippets of her looks from the film. In the pictures, she is seen dressed up in a floral top and a chic leather skirt. “Here are some cute CTRL looks I hadn’t posted. Watch the movie!!!! On Netflix India,” she wrote along with the post.
In another update, Ananya Panday expressed her gratitude to her fans showering love and support on CTRL. She wrote, “Grateful for all the love and appreciation Nella and CTRL are getting reading everything and smiling very wide @motwayne you know exactly how I feel.. love you toooo much and I can never thank you enough – this is a core memory and one of my biggest learnings. And none of this would be possible without the most amazing cast and crew. watch CTRL on Netflix if you haven’t already.”
Besides CTRL, Ananya Panday also impressed viewers with her role in Amazon Prime Video’s Call Me Bae. Next up for her is a movie alongside Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan, tentatively titled Shankara. Reportedly, the film will be based on a book – The Case That Shook The Empire. Shankara is backed by Karan Johar whereas Karan Singh Tyagi has come on board to direct the film.
