Ananya Panday and Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan, have been childhood friends, and B-Town fans have loved watching their bond grow over the years. Having grown up together, they’ve shared countless experiences, from celebrating each other’s achievements to vacationing abroad and attending cricket matches. Their close friendship has also fostered strong relationships with their families, with Ananya and Suhana sharing close bonds not only with each other but also with each other’s parents.
On Sunday, Ananya posted pictures from the recently concluded IIFA Festival 2024, held at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, and attended by the who’s who of Bollywood. The actress’ Instagram post featured a photo with SRK. She can be seen adorably posing with King Khan. Ananya shared the post with the caption, “KING/bestie, love you always @iamsrk @iifa day 2 was a blast and a half.”
In the pictures, Ananya can be seen wearing a dazzling ensemble from Faraz Manan’s collection. Her outfit featured a golden heavily embellished halter-neck blouse featuring a cropped upside-down hem paired with a floor-length cape and satin saree skirt. She accentuated the beauty of her look by adding a few dainty pieces of diamond jewellery and wore her hair in a sleek bun.
Ananya’s post caught the attention of SRK’s daughter, who immediately commented, “Awww cuties,” followed by a smiling face with a heart and loudly crying emojis. Meanwhile, the actress’ fans also reacted to her picture with King Khan. One fan wrote, “THE BEST PICTURE ON THE INTERNET.” A second one said, “I wish you do movie together.”
During the IIFA Utsavam Awards 2024 green carpet, Ananya expressed her excitement about watching Shah Rukh as the host of IIFA Awards 2024. She exclaimed, “I am so excited. He is my absolute favourite. I have grown up watching him host on TV and I used to record it and go back and watch it. He is so much fun. He is charming, funny and witty. So I am really excited to witness that in person.”
Meanwhile, during a recent chat with Humans of Bombay, Ananya, who has been friends with Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor, shared how her friends are better prepared than she was when she debuted. “Everyone’s journey is so different…I am very happy with the time that I started. Whenever I see my friends starting out at 24-25, I feel that they are so well-prepared. They have done all their classes…They know how to deal with the media,” said the actress.
On the work front, Ananya was most recently seen in the chick-flick drama Call Me Bae and will next be seen in Netflix’s thriller film CTRL, which is scheduled to be released on October 4.
