Writer Shobha De has recently embroiled herself in another controversy when she mocked the Indian athletes participating at the Rio Olympics after some of the came close to winning but faltered at the finals.
“Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity,” she tweeted on Monday.
Several Bollywood celebrities including Abhishek Bachchan and Arjun Kapoor have reacted to De's statement.

The backlash has even led to another Twitter fight, between actor Sonam Kapoor and musician Abhijeet Bhattacharya this time.
