Arjun Kapoor Celebrates Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur’s ‘The Night Manager’ International Emmy Nomination
Arjun Kapoor took to his Instagram stories and shared the poster of The Night Manager. He congratulated the whole team

Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sobhita Dhulipala starrer web series The Night Manager has been nominated for Best Drama Series at the 2024 International Emmy Awards. Arjun Kapoor has reacted to this proud moment and called it well deserved. The Night Manager will be up against Les Gouttes de Dieu (Drops of God) from France, The Newsreader Season 2 from Australia, and Iosi, El Espia Arrepentido Season 2 from Argentina. The prestigious awards ceremony will take place in New York City on November 25.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Arjun Kapoor shared the poster and wrote, “Well Deserved”. Anil Kapoor also reacted and wrote, “I just couldn’t believe it. I called Sandeep (Sandeep Modi, the director) and the entire team. We were messaging each other.” Created by Sandeep Modi, The Night Manager is a television series that is the the remake of the acclaimed British series from 2016, based on John Le Carré’s novel. The show also stars Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, and Saswata Chatterjee in key parts. Produced by Banijay Asia and The Ink Factory, it was released on Disney + Hotstar.

Director Sandeep Modi, too, took to Instagram to write a gratitude note. “In tears of disbelief and joy. Thank you team. Thank you, God,” his post read.

The Night Manager marked the digital debut of Aditya Roy Kapur. The actor plays Shaan SenGupta in the thriller series, an army officer hotel manager who has to go undercover into the world of arms dealing.

Meanwhile, the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has announced that comedian and Bollywood star Vir Das will host the 2024 International Emmy Awards. The prestigious event is set to take place on Monday, November 25, in New York City. This marks Das’s return to the International Emmys stage after his impressive win last year for his Netflix comedy special Landing. Das, who was also nominated in the Comedy category in 2021.

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor will be next seen in a villain role in Singham Again co starring Ajay Devgn. The film is releasing on Diwali this year.
