Ever since Daddy's first look was unveiled, fans found more reasons than one to rejoice. The film brings back Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal in top form and follows the fates of gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli.
The trailer of the film sees Rampal flaunting long tresses, a beard and maintaining an intriguing glare all throughout.
It introduces us to his character, the only one who did not run away, and brings to light two other residents of Dagdi Chawl, Mumbai, who form a gang with him.
What starts as an effective tale focussing on the poor condition of mills and factories in 70s soon turns to a fetching story of a crime. The film stars Aishawarya Rajesh alongside the actor.
The political crime drama film has been co-written and directed by Ashim Ahluwalia and if the trailer is anything to go by, the film comes already looks like a winner.
