Did You Know Aamir Khan’s Sister Worked With Shah Rukh Khan In Pathaan?

Kapil Sharma’s The Great Indian Kapil Show is making all the right noises. Now, “Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan turned out to be the guest of honour in the latest episode. Needless to say, it ended up being quite a hit amongst the fans. After all, this was the first time that Aamir marked an appearance on Kapil Sharma’s show, which has been running for the last 11 years. In addition, the superstar ended up spilling many beans. Aamir, who attended the comedy show with his sisters, revealed that one of them even shared the screen with Shah Rukh Khan. Yes, you read that right.

While introducing his sisters Farhat and Nikhat, Aamir Khan said that the former worked with SRK in his blockbuster Pathaan. Now, a video, showing the same is making rounds on the internet. The clip, which was shared by one of Shah Rukh Khan’s fan pages on Instagram, exhibits, Aamir telling Kapil Sharma, “Meri behene baithi hui hain yhaan par. Yeh Farhat aur yeh Nikhat. Nikhat jo hai, pink me baithi hai,meri badi behan. Aapne Pathaan dekhi hai? Pathaan film mein ek aurat hai jo Shah Rukh Khan ko bolti hai aaj se tum Pathaan ho aur unko tabeez baandhti hai. Vo meri behan hai. [My sisters are here. This is Farhat and she is Nikhat…Nikhat, sitting in pink, is my elder sister. Have you seen Pathaan? In the movie Pathaan, there’s a woman who tells Shah Rukh Khan that from now on, you’re Pathaan, and she ties an amulet around him. That woman is my sister.]”

The moment, Aamir Khan revealed this, the audience erupted in applause and started cheering for Nikhat. The clip was shared with the text, “Aamir Khan introduced His elder sister, Nikhat Khan, as an actress who worked on Pathaan along with Shah Rukh Khan on Kapil Sharma’s show.”

Talking about Pathaan, the Siddharth Anand directorial hit the theatres last year in January. The film, which marked Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback to big screens, ended up re-writing record books. Backed by Yash Raj Films, Pathaan, apart from Shah Rukh Khan, featured Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Pathaan also featured Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in the key roles. In addition, Salman Khan made a cameo appearance. It must be noted that Pathaan is part of YRF’s spy universe, which also includes Salman Khan’s Tiger franchise and Hrithik Roshan’s War.
