Director TN Seetharam To Make His TV Comeback With This Show

Thalagavara Narayanarao Seetharam, aka, TN Seetharam is a prominent Kannada film and TV serial director, actor and screenwriter. He has been a cultural and influencing icon of showbiz through his art. He has gained a reputation for his writing, directing and producing plays, films and top-rated television series. Hailed as a legend of the industry, he will be soon gracing a talk show that has become the buzz of the town.

TN Seetharam has starred in TV shows like Mayamruga, Muktha Muktha and Mukha Mukhi, to name a few. He has been absent from the small screen for quite some time. Now, he will be appearing as a guest on Talk Tonic, a show on News18 Kannada. This has left his fans happy and eager to see him once again on their TV screens.

On the show, he will be touching on topics of who influenced him to take this profession up and how important were P Lankesh and Prof MD Nanjundaswamy in his life. He will also be talking about his learnings from legendary director Puttanna Kanagal and the challenges he has faced in producing hit serials.

He started in the Television world with the serial Sankalana in 1990. He has worked in Navellaru Onde, Pattedari Prabhakar, College Taranga, Jwalamukhi, Manvantara, Dashavataara, Mohini Vs Mahalinga, Maha Parva and Drama Juniors to name a few. He is currently c0-directing Mathe Mayamruga which aired in 2022. Before making it big in the industry, TN Seetharam’s journey had not been smooth. But now, he has managed to win the hearts of the younger generation with the serial Magalu Janaki.

TN Seetharam is originally from Doddaballapura near Mysuru. He started off his career in theatre as an assistant to P Lankesh. He wrote scripts and dialogues for Puttanna Kanagal’s films. He has worked in films like Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage, Mathadana, Vaastu Prakaara and Kaafi Thota among others. However, it was television that brought him immense fame and recognition.

TN Seetharam was last seen in the film Dhwaja, a political action film written by RS Durai Senthilkumar, directed by Ashok Cashyap and produced by Sudha Basavegowda under CBG Productions. It is headlined by Ravi Gowda, Priyamani and Divya Urudga with T.N Seetharam, Veena Sundhar and Bala Rajwadi in a lead negative role.
