Dulquer Salman Acquires Malayalam Rights For Kiran Abbavaram's KA

Kiran Abbavaram is eyeing to produce a similar hit as his debut film with his upcoming period drama KA. It is jointly written and directed by the duo Sujith & Sandeep. Apart from Kiran Abbavaram, actress Nayan Sarika is set to play the role of female lead in her debut film. KA is produced by Chnta Gopalakrishna Reddy under the banner of KA Productions. The music of the film is composed by Sam CS. The makers released the teaser and a song of the film which is creating a buzz in the entertainment industry. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages. In a recent update, Dulquer Salmaan’s production company, Wayfarer Films, has bagged the theatrical rights of the Malayalam version of Kiran Abbavaram’s KA. They will be distributing KA in the Malayalam language worldwide.

Producer Vamsi Nandipati has acquired the Telugu theatrical rights of the film for a significant amount. After the release of the teaser, the theatrical rights in other languages are high in demand. In such a situation, Dulqueer Salman’s Wayfarer Films has acquired the theatrical rights of KA for an undisclosed amount and will be releasing the Malayalam versions in theatres worldwide. The release date of the film has not yet been announced.

With Dulqueer Salmaan’s piqued interest in the film, Kiran Abbavaram’s KA is expected to get a major boost in the Malayalam theatres. Moving forward, distribution partners for Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages will be announced.
