The photos also show her attending an event with Mindy and interacting with her boss, Sylvie, played by Philippine Leroy Beaulieu. Sharing the first look, Netflix wrote, “There’s (a)mour coming. Your first look at Emily in Paris Season 4: Part 2, out September 12.”
Through Emily in Paris Season 4, creator Darren Star explains that the show is giving a tribute to Audrey Hepburn and her 1953 film, Roman Holiday. Speaking with Netflix Tudum, Star said, “I’ve always felt this wonderful kinship between not just Lily and Audrey Hepburn, but the spirit of those movies, that ‘Old Hollywood’ feeling, and Emily in Paris. I think Audrey Hepburn captured it so well in her movies like Roman Holiday and Charade. Her movies were romantic comedies and they were sophisticated and international.”
As per the creator, Emily will be travelling to exciting new places, including the French Alps and the picturesque streets of Rome. Star also claims that the new season will introduce fresh characters, more drama, romance and some new language challenges for Emily.
Lily Collins’ starrer Emily in Paris season 4 part 2 is scheduled to release on Netflix on September 12.
